Scene: Inside the apartment complex
Mei is reading on her tablet while running her bath and as she is waving her hand through the steamy water her doorbell rings. She reaches up to her ear and turns on her audio periscope. “Who is it,” she asks gently. “Mrs. Adachi, we’re with the Neo-Tokyo Police, Citizen’s Affairs unit,” a man's voice sounds from the speaker. “We’re here to talk to one of your tenants...a Kira Anderson and she isn’t answering her door. Any idea as to where she may be?” Mei pauses for a second and turns off the bath water, “She’s gone to the market and should be back in an hour or two, is something wrong?,” she asks worriedly. Promptly, he answers, “Officers responded to a homicide report last night in an alleyway 4 blocks from here where her blood was found on scene and a witness description of a woman fleeing the scene fit.” Looking very concerned she asks, “are you sure it was her?” “The evidence proves that she was at the scene but we aren’t sure of a motive,” the man says and follows with, “It looked like a fight so she may have just defended herself and ran in the confusion of the aftermath.” “Mrs, Adachi, would you mind if we come in and ask a few questions while we wait for Ms. Anderson? It could potentially help her case.” Looking increasingly uncomfortable she asks, “I’m sorry but can I see some ID first?” “Yes mam, he says. “Just turn on your door cam.” As Mei turns on the display she sees three men all dressed in black blazers. The lead one has his ID pointed towards the camera and the holographic Department crest appears above their name card. After a brief pause Mei speaks again, “Okay, If it helps her” and starts to open the door. Once opened, three suppressed shots ring out and she crashes to the ground. The first man walks in and crouches using his suppressor to prop Mei’s chin up. Smirking he says, “Thank you very much for your cooperation, Mrs. Adachi, and your consent for our collection program has been noted.” He drops his smirk and gets up and looks at his unit out in the hallway, motioning for them to head inside. As he casually walks in, his men place a mask over Mei’s face and drag her still bleeding body into the room. The lead man walks back up to the front door and partially closes it while dimming the lights inside.
*The audio periscope loads up on a panel as a waveform but the earpiece looks like a modified bluetooth headset.
*When Mei’s body is falling I want a parallel follow arc shot all the way to the ground
*The round hitting Mei are in her non-vital organs and open up upon penetration releasing a coagulant.
